Data Deletion Instructions

MidL Social ("midL", "we") lets you delete your account and all associated personal data at any time. This page explains how, and how to revoke access for data we received from connected platforms such as Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, and Google.

1. Delete your account in-app

  1. Sign in to midL as the workspace owner.
  2. Go to Settings → Profile and scroll to Delete my account.
  3. Click Delete my account, review what will be deleted, type DELETE and confirm.

We cancel your subscription first and email you a confirmation. Your account stays recoverable for 30 days: sign in and click Cancel deletion on the same page. After 30 days we permanently delete your clients, content, files in storage, platform tokens, synced Meta, Google, TikTok, LinkedIn and email-platform data, midLy chats and portal links. Backups are purged within 90 days.

2. Email request

Or email privacy@getmidl.com to request deletion or a copy of your data. Write from the address tied to your account; we will verify your identity and respond within 30 days.

3. Revoke connected platforms

To disconnect one platform for one client, open the client, go to Social(or Email marketing for email platforms) and click Disconnect. This removes the stored token and deletes that platform's synced data for that client, such as analytics, ad snapshots and saved midLy ad reports. You can also remove midL in each platform's own settings:

  • Facebook / Instagram: Settings → Apps and Websites → remove "MidL Social".
  • TikTok: Settings → Security & Login → Manage app permissions.
  • LinkedIn: Settings → Data privacy → Permitted services.
  • X: Settings → Security and account access → Apps and sessions.
  • Google / YouTube: myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party access.

4. What is retained

We may retain a minimal record of the deletion request, and billing records and invoices required by law (held by our Merchant of Record, Paddle), for the period required by applicable law.
